School Group Reservations
EMP is offering discounted admission to the DoubleTake: From Monet to Lichtenstein exhibition to student/youth and other educational groups on a first-come, first-served basis. Because of the very limited number of school/youth groups admitted to DoubleTake: From Monet to Lichtenstein each day at the discounted education admission price, two week advance reservations are required for this exhibition.
The discounted education rates are available exclusively to nonprofit school and youth organizations located in the Pacific Northwest. All out of area visitors and tour operators please visit the Group Tours page.
Cost
Available for grades 7-12: $5.00 per person for Students and Chaperones
To receive the discounted admission rates for schools, youth groups, colleges, universities and other educational programs, you must make a reservation and receive a confirmation from EMP. Visits are available during normal hours of operation until 5:00 pm. If you have questions, please call the Education department at 206.770.2766 or e-mail to schoolvisit@emplive.org.

Confirmation
When you make your reservation, you will receive an email containing your confirmation number. Please call us immediately at 206.770.2766 if there is a discrepancy in the date, arrival time or number of guests. Please have your confirmation code ready to expedite your call.
Payment
You may pay for your visit when you arrive at the museum. We accept cash, purchase order, credit card and school or organization checks. Coupons, vouchers and memberships cannot be used with our special group rates. The discounted group rate is only available when tickets are purchased in one sum.
Parking
The Harrison Street turnaround is for loading and unloading only. To park your vehicle, we suggest using the Seattle Center parking lot with entrances on both Harrison Street and Fifth Avenue. Group Entrance
Groups enter the building at the Harrison Street/Group Entrance on the north end (silver end) of EMP. Please have large groups wait outside until greeted by an EMP staff member. Chaperones
The required chaperone to student ratio is 1:5 for students grades K-6, 1:7 for grades 7-8, and 1:10 for grades 9-12. This is a minimum requirement but there is no limit to the number of chaperones you can bring. Groups arriving with fewer than the required chaperones will not be permitted to enter the exhibits. During your visit, chaperones must remain with their students at all times as it is their responsibility to maintain orderly student behavior. We reserve the right to ask your group to leave if group or individual student or chaperone conduct is inappropriate or in violation of museum policies.
Special Populations
EMP is wheelchair accessible. Please call the Group Visits Department at 206.770.2766 with any special needs requests.
Cancellations
Please call 206.770.2766 at least two weeks in advance of scheduled date to cancel. We will make every effort to reschedule your visit. Day of visit "no-shows" will be charged a $30 processing fee. EMP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your group at any time.
